Infrastructure


The kilogram laboratory is equipped with a 20-50L reactor, whilst the pilot plant is equipped with a 100L-1000L reactor. It is equipped with a distillation unit, autoclaves & commercial sterilizers, and pulverizer. In addition to meeting the conventional reaction conditions, our pilot platform can also achieve high and low temperature reactions, anhydrous anoxic reactions, hydrogenation reactions, nitrification reactions, acid-base reactions, enzyme catalytic reactions, etc.

Core Capabilities


Asymmetric synthesis
Our asymmetric synthesis technology of chiral catalyst, chiral ligand or chiral auxiliary is widely used to synthesize building blocks of drugs. Such technology effectively reduces the production cost of chiral products, as well as improves reaction efficiency and reduces the three wastes (waste gas, waste water and industrial residue) and energy consumption.
Ultra-low temperature reaction
Ultra-low temperature reactions are generally highly selective with increased yield and product purity. The most common reaction is the metallization reaction that produces an active lithium/magnesium reagent and various electrophile reactions. The industrial application of this technology is very broad, and often used to prepare various high-value aromatic boronic acid, aldehyde, acid and ester products.
Fluorination
Organic fluorochemicals are very important in pharmaceutical industry. About one-fifth of the new drugs listed each year contain a small amount of fluorine atoms. From a physiological point of view, the fluorine-containing drug has better bio-penetration than general drug. Thus, it can be better applied to the target organ with greatly reduced dosage being used. In Medinoah, we have applied fluorination technology to the synthesis of small molecule spiro rings and saturated six-membered ring building blocks.
